The Gateway Hammerheads is the largest active group of scuba diving enthusiasts in the St. Louis metro area. Members are certified scuba diving enthusiasts from all ages and walks of life who seriously understand and practice safe diving and share a simple love of the sea.

Who's Coming to Gateway Hammerheads

We kicked off our new format in September 2010. If you are new or have not attended a meeting since last September, you cannot imagine the excitement! Each meeting has a surprise guest. Before, our only guest (aka: famous dive person!) was only available at our yearly banquet or special event. These events usually involved big bucks for members and the club. Now, thanks Skype technology, the world is at our fingertips! Each month, you will get to meet people from all over the world talking about everything dive related. They do a short presentation and follow up with Q&A. It has been AWESOME!

Since we do not announce our "surprise guest" in advance (after all, then it would not be a surprise, would it?), you have to come to the meeting to find out what famous dive person will "attend".
